From 6th October 2016 we will be starting two new classes on Thursday night at Chatswood Public School!

​Ideally we didn't want to overlap Mosman and Chatswood class but at the moment this is the only available time and hall in the area.

6.30pm Taeguk Poomsae

7.30pm 15 years old + and Poom (junior black belt) class

We are introducing Taeguk poomsae as this is the standard poomsae in Korea. It will be prerequisite knowledge for anyone who wants to go to future training camps in Korea and for anyone who wants to compete at NSW State or Australian Nationals.

Gradings will still be done based on the current "Chang Hon" patterns because we like the broader syllabus contained within the Chang Hon patterns.

The 7.30pm class will be open to Junior black belts and adults of all levels (beginners through to experienced)

On Saturday September 10, members of Chung Do Taekwondo participated in a one day camp with some of the Australian University Games representatives from The University of Technology Sydney.

For the Chung Do Taekwondo participants it was a great opportunity to experience competition style training, to learn the intricacies of poomsae and to experience Daedo electronic sparring equipment.

Looking forward to other collaboration opportunities in the future!

10 September

ZiChuan will be teaching a whole day seminar at The University of Technology in preparation for the Australian University Games. The day will cover composition poomsae and sparring. Members of Chung Do Taekwondo aged approx 15 and above are also welcome to attend.

UTS Ross Milbourne Sports Hall, 745 Harris Street Ultimo.
9.30-4pm
$25 (to help the UTS Taekwondo team fly to Perth)

Steve will teach Lindfield, Chatswood, Manly and Beacon Hill.

11 September
No Roseville class this week as the hall is being used for something else. 
​Manly class is still on at 6pm.
