The Covid 19 outbreak during 2020 was the catalyst for us to overhaul our class content, structure and delivery methods with the aim of providing meaningful, long term training options via remote learning. We even thought through how to do gradings and competitions from home!
Yoga Mat Taekwondo - series of classes focused on strength, toning, balance, cardio, basic techniques. You don't even need a yoga mat. BONUS: Members of the same household are welcome to join these classes (purple coloured classes on the timetable) for free!
Belt specific classes - online learning requires a more focused approach compared with in person classes. We've broken down the requirements for each belt/level into specific chunks which we work on in an even more structured approach than our traditional in person class.
On demand video
Tutorials that can be viewed whenever and where ever you like! We cover everything from basic stances and blocks to more advance techniques and patterns/poomsae. A great resource to learn at your own pace or to review and practice on your own.
We noticed we spend a lot of time correcting and teaching the people on the LiveStream and this doesn't translate well in the recording. So we decided to record each week's lessons from scratch to allow our students to practice at home.
One on One online classes
Short one on one LiveStream with one of our Instructors to check in with you and to help correct mistakes, answer questions that may have come up during the LiveStream or when you were watching the On Demand videos

By doing all of this we can help you develop your health, fitness, flexibility, perseverance, confidence and most importantly have fun and burn off some energy from home! The lessons are also designed to give you the skills you need to be able to do the gradings and progress through the ranks.Family members are welcome to join in for free but will not be eligible for grading or one on one reviews
What do I need?
A stable internet connection for LiveStream classes, we use Zoom which has low bandwidth requirements but the better your connection, the smoother it'll be
Enough space to lie down flat on the floor with your arms out. This is enough for most classes but when we do patterns you will generally need to be able to take 2 steps forward/back and 2 steps to each side (if you don't have that space at home you could do your patterns practice outside using our On Demand content).
Water bottle
T-shirt and baggy/stretchy pants is fine for the trial. If you join the membership fee includes a uniform which we will send to you so you can really get into the right frame of mind.
