A reminder that there is no class Saturday 25th April due to Anzac Day.
Classes will resume as normal on Sunday 26th April.
In the meantime, there are some videos in your member portal that you can train at home to!
To access the videos please check our post from last week (should be the post directly under this one or click here)
We don't strictly follow terms but we're heading into term 2 for schools next week.
Online classes will continue and we've noticed a growing number of family members joining our sessions. Keep it up!
Regular exercise and stretching is extremely important for everyone.
Remember everyone can attend the purple coloured classes on the timetable, if a participant needs different exercises e.g. less impact etc please let us know and we will accommodate.
At this stage there is no indication that gyms and fitness centres like ours will be allowed to reopen.
Our view remains that we have a number of months of closure ahead.
We've uploaded a couple of videos and have made them available to all existing members!
Log into your member portal then follow the below screen shots
Note: Your member portal will work on laptop too in case your phone screen is too small
Easter, School holidays, Anzac Day
Normally we don't have classes during the Easter Long Weekend because a lot of people go away.
No one can go away this year, so classes will be ON during Easter Saturday.
But no classes on Easter Sunday.
As usual, we are running all our scheduled classes during the school holidays.
No class Saturday 25th April
Training for all
Our online classes are starting to take off and thank you again to everyone for their support and to those who've given us such encouraging feedback.
To assist with general well being of our community, we are inviting Strength, Stretching and Fitness classes (the purple ones on the timetable) to all family members!
It's on the screen anyway so if you have space, get involved (or take turns with who gets to do exercise). The belt specific classes, attendance tracking for grading qualification and one on one reviews will still be for the official students though.
We will hopefully load up some recorded content next week. Clubworx just emailed me saying they've got a way to upload the recordings into your member portal.
We'll do some testing of this and if it works you'll see some uploads soon!
QUick COvid 19 update
Please heed Government advice to stay home this Easter
The curve is flattening globally, financial markets seem to be going up (dead cat bounce?) and people are itching to get out.
However, as pointed out in the last update, Hong Kong experienced a second wave of infections after Social Isolation was listed.
This week, golden child Singapore just imposed Social Isolation rules in line with the strictness that we're experiencing as they are also experiencing a second wave of infections.
Not good news but in line with what we were expecting.
A reminder that the deadline to register for grading is Saturday with the video submission date Sunday 5th April.
Remember to book in your one on one reviews
If you are planning to do grading register here
Getting onto the livestream
The LiveStream attendance continues to grow and we're getting really positive feedback. Thank you!
Best way to get onto the LiveStream
Our On Demand content is coming along well.
