Hello everyone,

Only a few days until we officially kick off classes for 2023! (Well done to the 10+ people who attended Tuesday and/or Thursday's bonus classes this week)
Apologies, I'm a bit slow to reply to emails this week. The database updates are taking a lot of time.

A few things as we lead into next week
1. New fees

• As communicated last year we have needed to increase the fees and this will take place from 9th Jan
• We've almost finished 300+ membership updates and consolidating our memberships types from 48 down to around 20.
• 2022 ActiveKids credits will be applied asap after the membership updates are complete. We might miss some for 9th Jan but we will apply the credits before the next payment.
• 2023 ActiveKids vouchers - thank you to those who has sent them already. We will apply these after we finish 2022 vouchers.

2. Change of fee timing

• Our system week will now be from Monday to Sunday
• This means fortnightly payments for 2 weeks in advance will be charged on Monday regardless of what day you attend
• We're doing this to see if this reduces confusion with the class booking system
• NSG/NSB payments have been rescheduled to 30 January to match the school term
• All other payments (e.g. when I send invoices) will be sent on the 10th of each month so I can do everything in one go

3. Chung Do Personal Development Academy (Chung Do PDA) - you don't need to be learning taekwondo to join this one!

• Many people learn martial arts for fitness, social connection, flexibility, fun and self defence.
• Along the way they also learn many important life skills and develop personal qualities that will help their employment prospects and every day life.
• Chungdo PDA is born out of our desire to introduce our Chungdo TKD community to opportunities and knowledge that will help both their personal goals and career possibilities.
• Cost will be approx $600 for the 6 month program

4. Call for Student Leaders + Assistant Instructors/Instructors

• We know there are many high potential students in our dojang and we want to give the opportunity to help them develop their confidence and leadership skills
• We've created a short table which details the differences between the levels and there's a simple application form on our website if you're interested!
