Oceania Opens/Presidents Cup/Australian Open triple header	400+ competitors from 47 countries Richard (Sydney Uni) - Oceania - Out in round of 32 Australian Open - Made it to Round of 16 losing to China Master Zi Oceania - Individual (Silver - 6 players), Pairs (Bronze - 5 pairs) Australian Open - Individual (bronze - 5 players), Pairs (silver - 5 pairs)
NSW State Championships and National Selections	47 players, 99 medals The efforts of our students resulted in Chung Do TKD placing: 6th in Kyorugi (sparring) 1st in Poomsae #1 club overall in NSW! A huge thanks to the students, parents, Wylan for his help on the day, David, Yutong and the other instructors

Grading

• In each grading we only can test approx 1/3 of the students
• It's not expected that everyone grades at each grading.
• Also, please note that for blue belt and above competition experience (either poomsae or sparring) is required.

We have had a word with the instructors about giving clear feedback about what students need to improve to be able to pass the pre-grading assessment and we will have a new grading booklet soon so that students have a more obvious guide to what the criteria for each belt is.

If you missed the last grading, the next one will be near the end of September (it's soon because the last one was delayed due to Master Zi's travel schedule)

Seminars

NSW State Training
Next NDP and PPP training will be on the 12th of August at the ACPE homebush
Sessions are as follows
12:30pm to 2pm
10 to 13yrs red and black belts.

2pm to 4pm
14yrs and over red and black belts.
Sessions will be focused on scenarios and sparring.
All students must be in full uniform and bring all sparring gear and kick targets.

Seminar 1: How to teach Poomsae (2 hours) 3pm - 5pm

20th August 1- 3pm
Seminar 2: Basic movements - Kicks, Hand techniques and stances (2 hours)

20th August 4-7pm
Seminar 3: Colour Belt Poomsae (90min) & Black Belt Poomsae (90min)

$80 for 1 sessions
$150 for 2 sessions
$200 for 3 sessions
