Congratulations to everyone who attended grading over the last few days
We will be presenting belts/tips during your next class :)

Holidays
Due to the public holiday 22 September we will have no classes that day.
Gentle TKD will move from Thursday to Friday for this week.

Classes continue as normal during the school holidays
If you need your account suspended during the break please let me know, otherwise classes are still on so come along.

Competitions
Two competitions coming up
16 October - KTAA Competition (Hurstville)
Calling all adults who want to compete, this will be a fun opportunity to get your first comp under your belt or to just have more competition experience
Kids can of course enter as well

3 & 4 December Australian Taekwondo Nationals (Bendigo)
If you came 1st, 2nd or 3rd at the August State Competition then you qualify
Let us know if you're interested in going, we will be organising the team in the next week or two

Hi,

A quick update that grading invitations have been sent out, if you're expecting one and haven't received one yet please let us know.

No classes at Chatswood Saturday 17 & Sunday 18 September
Due to grading at Chatswood there will be no classes at the Zido Hub Dojang on Saturday and Sunday.
Mosman, Manly, Beacon Hill and Lindfield classes will remain as scheduled.

Changes to class bookings
Important changes are coming for class bookings
1. Cancellation time is now 3 hours before class (not 1 hour)
2. $2 late cancellation fee may now apply if you don't cancel at least 3 hours before class

We are seeing more classes marked full on the timetable but we've noticed there are people on the list who don't attend.

The $2 late cancellation fee has been introduced because there are sometimes people on waitlist who are missing out on classes because other students have booked but either cancel too late or don't show up.

There are also people who don't book in and still turn up - to avoid over crowding please make sure you book into class.

We have increased class capacity to 24 students across all classes except Fundamentals (30min 4-6 yo class)

3. Chung Do Taekwondo app is coming
Currently you can manage bookings via the member's portal
We will shortly be moving to an app
This will make it easier for you to manage your bookings and great news for families - you will be able to manage all the family in one app without needing separate logins.
We will update once the app is ready

Chatswood Street Fair 3 September
Street Fair is on at Chatswood today.
Even though the weather forecast is cold and rainy, Chatswood might be busier than normal and streets are closed.
So traffic and parking might not be great.
If coming to Chatswood class please factor this into your travel time

Emerge Festival
We're promoting our Gentle Taekwondo classes (Monday and Thursday 12noon) as part of Chatswood's annual Emerge Festival!

Did you know we have students in their 60s?!

Grading
A quick update that September grading will be 17-19 September
We will start grading qualification assessments this week with the view to send invitations out by the end of the week.

If you graded last time (July) it's too early to grade again. Unless we have not retested you yet.
Also the printing shop that I use to print the certificates closed so I haven't printed the July grading certificates yet...

Haven't had the chance to set up the holiday program in the ticketing system yet but here's the schedule
