September Grading | Holiday Program

Chatswood Street Fair 3 September
Street Fair is on at Chatswood today.
Even though the weather forecast is cold and rainy, Chatswood might be busier than normal and streets are closed.
So traffic and parking might not be great.
If coming to Chatswood class please factor this into your travel time

Emerge Festival
We're promoting our Gentle Taekwondo classes (Monday and Thursday 12noon) as part of Chatswood's annual Emerge Festival!

Did you know we have students in their 60s?!

PS for those who are younger adults, the class is "gentle" in relative terms

Grading
A quick update that September grading will be 17-19 September
We will start grading qualification assessments this week with the view to send invitations out by the end of the week.

If you graded last time (July) it's too early to grade again. Unless we have not retested you yet.
Also the printing shop that I use to print the certificates closed so I haven't printed the July grading certificates yet...

Holiday Program
Haven't had the chance to set up the holiday program in the ticketing system yet but here's the schedule
Waiting on Strike Chatswood to confirm if we can do the bowling session on the 31 October.

Oh also, ZiChuan has (re)joined the Sydney University Taekwondo instructor team as Kyorugi (sparring) Instructor.

It's been great so far, really good to be back at his alma mater! ZiChuan was assistant instructor at USYD back when he was a student there. It's also good to be back at university taekwondo 7 years after leaving the Head Coach role at UTS Taekwondo to focus on Chung Do.

ZiChuan is currently alternating Monday and Wednesday nights at Chatswood to fit in USYD but will be looking at the Chatswood schedule soon to see if he can make some tweaks to make his Chatswood class appearances more predictable for our Monday teens/adult class and competition teams.
