2022 Nationals Results wrap up

A very successful 2022 @austkd_ Nationals campaign for #Chungdotkd

It was great to see so many of Australia's best Taekwondo practitioners of all ages come together to compete at a very successful event.

For myself, Saturday was a grueling 15 hours referring but it was an absolutely unexpected privilege to be chosen to referee on Fight Night. My first Nationals as a referee and it was an honour to be with such an amazingly professional and supportive group.

Sunday allowed me to do some coaching and competing (before going back and helping referee the last 5 matches). Individuals was tough vs Master Choi (Australia's 2022 World Championship representative).

In pairs and teams I really want to say a huge thankyou to my Teams team mates @dale_bryce from @eclipse_taekwondo, Master Woo from @jinmookma and my pairs team mate @chllo2 from @musataekwondo . All three of them push me to lift my game and I really appreciate it. So pleased with our 6.99 pyongwon in Teams and our #1 placing in pairs. It was really encouraging to see accuracy scores boarding around 3.
